Shimu Co., Ltd. is a restaurant business under Taiyuen Textile Co., Ltd., established in 2023 as part of the group’s diversified business portfolio. The company focuses on the restaurant sector, managing and developing brands including Change & Share Shabu and TOK Steakhouse.

Shimu upholds the core values of Taiyuen Textile—“people-oriented, pursuit of excellence, and giving back to society”—and incorporates the meaning behind its own name into its business philosophy: “Shimu” combines “Shimu” (蒔), symbolizing sowing and cultivation, reflecting careful nurturing of food quality and brand development, and “Mu” (慕), symbolizing respect and admiration, representing the company’s care and commitment to employees, customers, and society.

"荿蒔" is inspired by the homophone of "honesty," with the "艸" radical symbolizing the intrinsic bond between ingredients and the land. We honor the natural rhythms of farming, thoughtfully sourcing produce through partnerships with small-scale farmers to deliver the freshest crops from farm to table. For us, honesty is the cornerstone of all culinary delight. The character "敘" signifies gathering and reconnecting. In a warm and inviting dining space, it fosters the joy of shared experiences, turning every meal into a celebration of togetherness and cherished memories.
